Folio, a specialist recruitment agency in London’s interior design community, is seeking a Senior Freelance Interior Architect/Designer for a 4-month contract immediately. The role involves working on a luxury hotel project in a tropical location, focusing on concept development. The London-based firm emphasizes luxurious and timeless designs, blending classic elegance with modern elements. This role offers a collaborative work environment and significant responsibilities in design and coordination, ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic studios.

The role requires full-time presence and allows for high-level design contributions, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance one’s project portfolio by working with a top-tier studio.

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture
• Available immediately or with a 2-week notice period
• Experience in high-end hotel, hospitality, or large-scale commercial projects
• Strong understanding and experience in the luxury sector
• Awareness of current style trends and industry developments in hotel/hospitality
• Understanding of construction methods and regulations
• Proficiency in interior architecture, joinery, and construction detailing
• Strong 3D spatial awareness skills
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and freehand sketching
• Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines while maintaining studio standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
