Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Interior Designer to collaborate with our dynamic team on an exciting project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on high-end residential projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious Grade II listed country house, collaborating closely with client and project teams to create timeless and elegant interiors.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior designers and project teams on innovative design concepts for high-end residential projects.
  • Produce detailed design documentation utilizing software tools like Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Source and specify furnishings, finishes, materials, and fixtures according to quality standards and project budget.
  • Assist in coordinating FF&E procurement and installation with accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, conveying design ideas effectively.
  • Contribute to project presentations and material boards to communicate design concepts to clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and technologies for design creativity and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in interior design, focusing on high-end residential projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong conceptual and spatial design skills with the ability to translate client requirements into functional design solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics, materials, and finishes.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
