Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Social Media Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging and relevant content for our various social media platforms, helping to build and strengthen our online presence and community.

Responsibilities:

  • Create visually appealing and compelling content for social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Develop content calendars and schedules in alignment with marketing strategies and company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to brainstorm and execute social media campaigns.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to our industry or brand.
  • Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of social media content and campaigns, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience creating content for social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and engaging with audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and photo/video editing software is a HUGE plus.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights, or Google Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.

Previous experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organization. Be prepared to provide examples.

Experience with influencer marketing and community management.

  • Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Freelance
  • Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
  • Benefits: Flexible schedule
  • Schedule: 4-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, No weekends, Weekends as needed
