Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling, high-quality video content for social media platforms. As a Social Media Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing both long-form and short-form content for various social media channels including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos with smooth transitions, proper pacing, and seamless integration of audio and visual elements
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
- Trim footage segments and assemble the video sequences
- Incorporate motion graphics, 3D animation, and visual effects as required
- Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and post-production techniques
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Manage video files, organize assets, and maintain an efficient workflow
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Strong understanding of post-production processes including color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects
- Solid knowledge of photo editing tools such as Capture One, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Bridge
- Familiarity with motion graphics software like Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts
