Job Description:
The Freelance Organic Social Designer will create impactful and innovative organic social content across various platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat. This role collaborates closely with brand designers, art directors, copywriters, marketers, and other creative leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging posts using brand photography and videos.
- Create GIFs and edit organic videos.
- Develop layouts with strong typography for visual storytelling.
- Contribute new ideas and brainstorm within the team.
- Translate concepts into visually appealing posts quickly.
- Utilize performance data to create high-engagement content.
- Ensure visual consistency across platforms while pushing creative boundaries.
- Possibly work on print and digital materials related to organic-led campaigns.
Requirements:
- Stay updated on organic social trends, particularly in women and girl’s fashion, sports, and influencer culture.
- Proficient in editing tools on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Snapchat.
- Expertise in Figma, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote.
- Light video editing experience and a willingness to learn more.
- Desired skills in Adobe After Effects.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented and passionate about creating visually stunning designs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Available full-time for freelance work with potential for long-term projects.
- Preferably local to the San Francisco Bay Area for hybrid work arrangements.
Additional Information:
The duration of the role is 6 months, and it involves working in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite). The ideal candidate should be a team player, strong communicator, self-starter, and willing to think creatively for the position.
