KXTV-TV ABC 10 in Sacramento is seeking a part-time Video Editor to produce engaging and shareable content for television, social media, and mobile platforms. The role requires someone who is tech-savvy, a self-starter, and able to meet strict deadlines. The ideal candidate should have a strong artistic sense, skilled in editing and photography techniques, and have a passion for storytelling.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in non-linear editing systems like Edius, Premiere, and Photoshop
- Interest in broadcast and digital news content
- Organizational skills and ability to work under deadline pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain quality while meeting tight schedules
- Flexible work hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends
Other Information:
- The role involves creating content for Newscast and Digital platforms.
