Job Description:

If you enjoy high-level social media and communication projects providing information of the military health system, Serco has an opportunity for a Social Media Specialist supporting the Defense Health Agency in Falls Church, VA. You will develop, manage, and analyze social media platforms, ensuring messaging is engaging, on target, and timely. Additionally, you will collaborate with teams to ensure consistent messaging and contribute to reports for leadership.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in strategic communications, public affairs, and/or social media management
• Experience with DHA, VHA, or DoD or related federal agencies
• Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
• Clearance of background check and drug screen

Desired qualifications include understanding of military health organizations, experience with military branch communications, proficiency in analyzing communication impact, and familiarity with social media analysis tools.
