Job Description

The Java Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend applications using Java technologies. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, ensuring application performance, and identifying and fixing bugs are key responsibilities. Additionally, maintaining code quality, organization, and automation will be part of the role.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven work experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role is necessary. Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java 1.8, Rest API, and Spring Boot is required. Experience with database technologies like SQL and NoSQL is a plus. Familiarity with agile methodologies, excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently solve complex problems are also essential.

• Experience with RESTful API for 7 years and Spring for 5 years is preferred.
• Preferred work location: Saint Louis, MO 63104
• Relocation to Saint Louis, MO 63104 before starting work is preferred.
• Work Location: In person (Hybrid - 3 days from the office)
