Job Description

The Sci NC Team is seeking a part-time intern to produce digital science content for Sci NC’s social media channels and to prepare content for studio productions. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a working knowledge of Premiere Pro, and familiarity with social media.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Intern will receive a transportation stipend and must live in North Carolina.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

- Recent college graduate from an accredited college or university (student must have graduated after May 2022)

- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university AND a full-time undergraduate student (at least 12 semester hours)

- A graduate student (9 semester hours)

Skills:

- Premiere Pro

- Photoshop

Competencies:

- Working knowledge of Premier Pro editing system

- Familiarity with social media, YouTube, and Instagram

- Ability to write essays and a familiarity with Associated Press style guide
