Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative videographer to capture the essence of our high-end barbershop and showcase our professional services, stylish ambiance, and satisfied clientele. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in similar settings, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to bring our vision to life.

Responsibilities:

• Videograph our barbershop’s interior, exterior, staff, and clients to highlight the quality of our services and the unique atmosphere of our establishment
• Create compelling visual content for our website, social media, marketing materials, and promotional campaigns
• Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure that the videography aligns with our brand and marketing objectives
• Edit and retouch videos as needed to ensure a high-quality, polished final product
• Stay updated on video trends and techniques to continuously improve the visual representation of our barbershop

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional videographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in commercial or lifestyle videography
• Proficiency in video editing software and a strong understanding of digital videograph techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to capture the unique personality and style of our barbershop
• Flexibility and creativity to adapt to different shooting conditions and client needs
• Knowledge of lighting techniques and equipment to achieve the desired visual effects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the beauty, fashion, or hospitality industries
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their visual requirements
• Ability to provide creative direction and concept development for photo shoots

Other Information

• Job Type: Freelance
• Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
• Benefits: Employee discount
• Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
• Ability to Relocate: Brooklyn, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)
