Job Description:
As a User Experience Designer for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group – Electronic Systems in Fargo, ND, you will be responsible for creating user interaction task flows, developing mock-ups, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate designs to digital product managers and development teams. You will apply knowledge of usability, human factors, and UI processes to create intuitive user experiences and work with development teams to ensure new features are implemented according to specifications. Additionally, you will assist in pre- and post-development usability testing, create and maintain project and overall system design artifacts, provide design reviews, conduct design workshops with stakeholders, leverage user experience research insights, conduct quality assurance on implemented designs, and communicate mockups and design language to various groups and management levels in adherence to John Deere standards.
Requirements:
Experience with Figma, Sketch, or InVision is required. Preferred experience in agriculture, construction vehicles, electronics manufacturing, or similar industries. Working knowledge of software development and testing practices, Agile development methodologies, responsive design, and/or phone and tablet interface design is advantageous. Familiarity with data-driven analytics tools such as ContentSquare, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics is a plus. Education preferred is a Bachelor of Arts/Science in a Design or User Experience related field (Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, etc.) with 3-5 years of UI/UX/Interaction Design experience and proficiency in Figma.
Other Information:
This is a full-time contract position with a pay range of $45.00 - $46.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. The experience level required is 4 years, with relocation to Fargo, ND 58102 prior to starting work. Work location is in person.
