Job Description

Akkodis is looking for a UI/UX Designer for a contract position with a client in Houston, TX. The role involves working with subject matter experts and developers to create customer-centric experiences that enhance the brand identity as a sustainability leader. The main focus is on producing and managing website content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related experience
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in managing content in Adobe Experience Manager
• User-first mindset and knowledge of best practices in digital content
• Ability to work cross-functionally in different project management frameworks, preferably Agile/Scrum
• Experience with project management tools like Atlassian
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance big-picture objectives
• Experience incorporating feedback from content reviewers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience optimizing web assets like images and videos
• Familiarity with AEM tools and concepts (Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, Assets, Tags, Workflows)
• Experience with third-party platforms integrated with AEM (e.g., Algolia, BrightEdge)
• Experience working within different workstreams and project management frameworks like Agile/Scrum

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
