Job Description

As a Back-End Software Engineer, you will be responsible for writing, testing, maintaining, and documenting reusable code in PHP using Lumen/Laravel and MySQL. You will develop enterprise-quality, horizontally scalable code and APIs that output JSON or XML for frontend interfaces. Collaboration with other team members across the full software development lifecycle is essential.

Requirements

• Computer Science fundamentals in design, data structures, and algorithms
• 5+ years of professional development experience
• Experience with Agile development (SCRUM methodology)
• Proficiency in PHP, API development, MySQL, and data interchange formats like JSON or XML
• Basic Linux server experience and knowledge of version control with GitHub
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
