Job Description:

The Editor will be responsible for elevating and differentiating the client brand through storytelling by creating and editing a variety of video content. This role involves collaborating with internal clients, stakeholders, and agency partners, as well as managing the internal JD Stock video library. In addition to editing videos, the Editor will assist with video shoots in-studio and in-field and provide studio support.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of video editing experience
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud tools like Premier Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop/Illustrator
• Experience with professional cinema camera equipment
• Proficient in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic knowledge of video lighting, audio, and production equipment
• Physical capability to handle tasks like carrying gear and working in different weather conditions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel up to 10% of the time
• Self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently
• Portfolio/demo reel submission required

Additional Details:

This is a full-time role based in East Moline, IL, requiring relocation before starting work. The hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00. The candidate will design advertising materials for a global customer segment, work on company publications, and coordinate photography shoots. A four-year University Degree in a related field is required or equivalent work experience.
