Job Description:

As a Video Editor at Volt in East Moline, IL, your major duties will include editing video (70% of the time), assisting in video shoots, both in-studio and in-field (20% of the time), and providing studio help (10% of the time).

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of video editing experience
• Excellent communication and project management skills, extremely organized with post-production workflow and file management
• Expert working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop or Illustrator
• Experience with professional cinema camera equipment from manufacturers such as Sony, Canon, Panasonic, and RED
• Expert working knowledge of various video camera file formats, codecs, transcoding, and exporting deliverables
• Basic understanding of video lighting, audio, and production equipment
• Proficiency in Mac OS operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in basic audio editing for optimal sound quality

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Proven track record of executing various video projects
• Motion graphics experience with 2D or 3D animation
• Experience with heavy equipment (operational ability preferred)
• Experience shooting in agricultural, construction, forestry, turf, etc., industries
• Experience working in a video studio or outdoor jobsites
• Experience editing for large corporations, brands, and high-level leadership

Education:

Four-year University Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a related field such as editing, motion graphics, or videography.

Pay Range:

$20 to $25 per hour
