Job Description

The Senior Motion Designer (Fixed Term) will work collaboratively with the creative team to develop concepts and motion graphics for various projects. They will work on show opens, transitions, explainer graphics, and scenic studio graphics in both 2D and 3D animation styles. Responsibilities also include designing looks for news programs, special events, and documentaries. The role requires collaborating with creative directors, producers, and editors to deliver animated graphics with creative excellence.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a BA/BS or BFA/MFA degree in motion design, animation, graphic design, or relevant experience and at least 5 years of professional experience in television. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Maxon Cinema 4D, and knowledge of plugins like RedGiant, Boris FX is preferred. Strong design/production portfolio and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines are essential. A good understanding of compositing techniques and the ability to articulate design concepts clearly are also required.
