Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on clients’ briefs. They should contribute creative input on projects and discussions, staying up-to-date with interior design trends. This role involves a mix of remote work and occasional in-person meetings. Prior work experience, adaptability to new software, and enthusiasm in tackling challenges are valued. The position offers a 3-month contract to evaluate compatibility with the company culture.

Responsibilities:

• Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects
• Present designs to clients to understand their objectives
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and the team to address needs
• Prepare presentations (3D, 2D, mock-ups, and renderings)
• Maintain communication with suppliers and follow up on production status
• Maintain industry knowledge to stay relevant
• Prepare shopfitting drawings and finishing schedule documents

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• 2 - 3 years of experience

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, and Microsoft Office suite

• Strong creative and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to execute designs

• Strong rendering capabilities using Lumion, Enscape, or Corona
