Job Description
Dialogue Collaborative is seeking a part-time content creator to produce various content for the energy equity and climate vertical. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Digital Communications Manager and partner organizations to highlight climate equity and social justice issues in Georgia.
About Dialogue Collaborative vision is to create spaces that empower and inform to strengthen democracy and increase civic engagement. This role aims to bridge the participation gap in civic engagement through fact-based education and communication strategies.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in fields like Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, etc.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms
We are seeking someone who is a social media aficionado, politically engaged, comfortable on camera, and able to create easily digestible content. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, be a team player, and possess basic graphic design and video editing experience.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include brainstorming and collaborating with departments to produce short form content, focusing on video content. The role involves staying updated on relevant news, distilling complex topics, monitoring social media trends, and championing opportunities for the brand.
Compensation and Time Commitment
This part-time role reports to the Digital Communications Director, is based in Atlanta, GA, with a salary of $30,000 annually. The time commitment is 25 hours per week, with potential for permanent employment after one year. The position comes with medical & dental insurance and paid time off benefits.
