Job Description
The DHS IT Application Development team is seeking a front-end and middle-tier application developer proficient in Angular, C#, and the .NET framework. The developer will work on existing mission-critical applications, interpret business requirements, write functional code, conduct unit tests, fix defects in legacy code, and work with source control on multiple branches. Responsibilities include participating in requirements analysis, collaborating with teams, developing clean and scalable code, unit testing, debugging, and creating documentation.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as an Application Developer using Visual Studio and VS Code, familiarity with .NET framework and design patterns, proficiency with Oracle and PL/SQL, expertise in Angular 14+, ASP.Net Webforms, and MVC 5, as well as C#, Typescript, Ngrx, Rxjs, and Bootstrap. Knowledge of architectural styles/APIs (REST, RPC, SOAP), Agile methodologies, troubleshooting skills, and a BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5 years of development experience.
