Job Description:
Seeking UX Writer with demonstrable language expertise and mastery of various forms of UX writing (web, app, blogs, emails). Must have knowledge of digital and accessibility best practices. This role requires a strategic skillset, including interpretative ability, understanding of digital experience flows, and collaborative approach on UX design wireframes.
The role involves working in a “creative pod” environment alongside UX and UI designers to collaborate on solutions in real time. Proficiency in Figma is essential for team collaboration.
Requirements:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a writing-focused field (communications, journalism, etc.)
- 3-5+ years of professional UX writing experience, preferably in a large organization
- Empathetic writing approach and ability to simplify complex material
Preferred:
- Editorial experience
- Content strategy experience
- ChatGPT or AI content generation experience
- Figma familiarity
Additional Information:
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Experience level: 9 years (Required)
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
