Job Description
As a Front End Software Engineer, you will be part of a global team working on a variety of products. Responsibilities include developing frontend sites and products, parsing APIs into front-end interfaces, building responsive designs, writing reusable code, and collaborating with various teams. This position may be part-time remote with a significant overlap with the Central Time Zone or full-time based in Wichita, Kan.
Requirements
- Computer Science fundamentals
- 5+ years of professional development experience
- Familiarity with Agile development and SCRUM
- Strong experience with JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, and advanced JavaScript
- Ability to create reusable and testable modules
- Experience with JSON or XML
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
Preferred Skills
- Background in Angular, Meteor.js, Bootstrap, Webpack, Node, or Gulp
- Experience in responsive web design and writing unit tests
- Detail-oriented with an understanding of databases, platforms, and APIs
