Job Description:
Ivanhoe is seeking freelance reporters/producers in major U.S. markets such as Boston, Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, Hartford, and others. The role involves working for a nationally syndicated television news service, producing health reports and women’s stories for over 50 network affiliates.
Key responsibilities include interviewing national experts, writing compelling news segments, pitching ideas, and organizing shoots.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of experience at a network affiliate in a top 75 market. Strong storytelling skills and the ability to pitch ideas effectively are essential. Applicants must be able to work independently and have a flexible schedule for freelance work.
