Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain and create the design of the digital user experience and user interface for ACE (Arriva Customer Engine), the digital retail platform within Arriva UK Trains. This position plays a crucial role in delivering a digital experience focused on customer usability and efficiency. The role involves setting UX and UI design standards, managing design changes on the ACE platform, collaborating with various teams, conducting customer research, and ensuring designs meet accessibility standards.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in a User Experience designer or similar role
- Experience working on complex desktop, mobile, and app applications
- Ability to conduct usability tests remotely and in-person
- Strong attention to detail in design and presentation
- Must be able to multitask, think analytically, and problem-solve
- Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible in work approach
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of public transport markets is a plus
