Job Description
The Social Media Assistant will help manage social media accounts for the School of Nursing at Rutgers University. The role involves developing and implementing social media strategies, creating and posting content, interacting with followers, tracking metrics, and covering special events.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, digital marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years of relevant experience, writing skills for PR/marketing/journalism/websites, social media specialist experience, photography/videography skills, and familiarity with social posting platforms and Adobe Creative Suite.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good communication skills, strong writing/editing abilities, social media knowledge beyond personal accounts, eye for design, organizational skills, and computer literacy.

Position Status: Part Time
Hours Per Week: 19.99
Salary: $20-$28/hour
Work Arrangement: Flexible, combining work-from-home and on-campus hours
