Job Description
The chosen candidate will work as a Musical Accompanist for ROAD, an educational outreach program in Akron, Ohio. The role involves accompanying rehearsals and performances, collaborating with teachers, learning various musical styles, attending training sessions, selecting musical pieces, and maintaining professionalism.
Requirements
- Proficiency in playing the piano with a strong understanding of music theory
- Ability to sight-read sheet music accurately and quickly
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Valid driver’s license to commute to local schools/organizations in Akron, Ohio
- Positive, energetic, and upbeat attitude
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple musical pieces and cues
Additional Information
- Job Type: Contract
- Pay: From $20.00 per hour
- Benefits: Flexible schedule
- Schedule: 4-hour shifts, after school, choose your own hours, day shift, Monday to Friday
