Job Description

Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, punctual, and detail-oriented sound engineer to mix audio during worship services and special events. The sound engineer will set up, troubleshoot, and operate sound equipment during services. They will also train other media team members and be an active part of the media ministry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Establishing and fostering relationships with staff, volunteers, and members
• Attending all weekly church services and special events
• Performing duties assigned by the Minister of Music
• Mixing sound during services and technical rehearsals
• Performing sound checks and training volunteers

Requirements

• Formal live sound training and 3 years of professional Sound Engineering experience
• Knowledge of operating an Allen and Heath dLive C3500 soundboard
• Experience in a church or worship setting is preferred
• Understanding of industry standard practices and techniques
• Experience with mixing different music genres, including gospel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills for managing volunteers

10hrs/week (As Needed)
