Job Description

Visit Oakdale is seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Content Creator. This part-time, contract freelance position will focus on developing engaging content for the Cowboy Capital and promoting it across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation, including photography, videography, photo editing, video editing, and trend identification. Additionally, occasional writing tasks such as blog posts and promotional copy may be required.

Requirements

Experience in content creation, including photography, videography, photo editing, and video editing. Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Ability to identify and capitalize on trends to drive engagement and growth. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Knowledge of Oakdale and its cowboy culture is a plus.

Position Details

• Duration: May through September (5 months)
• Hours: Estimated 4-8 hours per week
• Compensation: $25 per hour (Contract 1099 position)
