I have 18 years of CPG creative design experience specializing in packaging design, I’ve been privileged to work in the toy industry for the last 14 years, but worked in Beauty and Food Packaging prior. This included:     • 14 years of industry experience as a senior creative, with an emphasis in packaging, photo art-direction/planning, retail merchandising, and showroom/event design. • 10+ years of experience managing design teams in the CPG space, with proven success of managing up to 6 direct reports. • Proven ability as a people-leader, motivating teams/mentoring designers, and collaborating with cross-functional partners. • A proven record of prioritizing/managing project deadlines, and being adaptable in a fast-paced environment. • 14 years of experience communicating/working directly with China packaging counterparts. • 10+ years of experience managing translation requests for international packaging.   In addition to my packaging design work, I have also expanded my portfolio to include licensed product design. Specifically, as the CP Design Manager- Hardlines at Mattel, I oversaw product, packaging, and Marcom. This included marketing programs/promotions for print/.com/Video for my consumer products partners.   In my previous role at Jazwares, I had the opportunity to go beyond toys and to lead packaging design for a new Halloween (Costumes/Decor) division.
