Bass music, tropical hybrid, dub science. Muti Music, Saedos Records Sharps resides in Vancouver BC, and pushes at the edges of dance music, fuzing west coast bass, reggaeton/dancehall riddim and UK underground. No rookie to the game, Sharps began crafting beats in the mid 90's amidst the emerging rave culture, listening to IDM, dancing to house, jungle and breakbeats. Since those early days, his music has grown, and brought him to international stages from London UK, to the bay area, and back home in Vancouver BC. A few early breakthrough tunes from '07-'09 put his name on the map to many in the bass music world, with Night Work, Girl Sweat, and his completely viral remix of Ginuwine's Pony. Following a trip to South America and then Burningman, he rekindled an earlier concept of hybridizing reggaeton with bass music, and began producing his signature dembow bass tunes. Like many producers, he is not content to dwell within genre, however unlike many producers, Sharps manages to crack the edges of genre and produce hybrid tunes that truly kill it.
