I am a cinematographer and time-lapse photographer based in South Korea. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2008 with a B.A. in Film and Video, I moved to Seoul. My initial idea was to live abroad for a bit and experience the world before I got settled into my career in New York or Los Angeles; however, Korea pulled me in and I fell in love with it! Next thing I knew, I was making my career here instead of The States. I’ve been working as a freelance cameraman in Korea for over 10 years now. I’ve been fortunate to work on a wide variety of narrative films, documentaries, and corporate videos for numerous international companies and broadcasters. While I am based in Korea, I’ve had the opportunity to go around the world for work also. I’ve filmed projects in South Africa, Europe, North America, and throughout Asia. As a cinematographer, I’ve worked with an assortment of formats - from 35mm & 16mm film, DSLRs & mirrorless cameras, to the latest high end digital cameras such as REDs and Arris. Aside from working as a cinematographer, I stepped into the director and producer role on a a feature length Korean generation gap documentary called "Sedae" , directed a musical film shot in Cape Town called "They Say It’s Wonderful" , and have launched a production company called "Alkima" with my close friend and long time collaborator. I have also worked with numerous crypto currency / blockchain companies. Visit _Website not available. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ to learn more about that.
