HI THERE! I’m Sophia Presley Pent from Augusta, GA, and working near Greenville, SC. I am currently pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design at the Department of Art + Design at Anderson University’s SOUTH CAROLINA SCHOOL OF THE ARTS. I have a deep passion for typography and branding. For me, design isn't just about creating visually appealing pieces. Crafting intentional designs that leave a lasting impact is what drives me every day. I thrive on the connections I forge through my work and my love for collecting inspiration from all corners of life. I've been fortunate enough to see some of my projects recognized on both regional and national levels, and have snagged a couple of Gold ADDY awards for my branding project, Bonhaus. When I’m not designing digitally, I always have a side hustle going— currently, I’m selling fresh sourdough to a local store in Liberty, SC, which brings me a lot of joy. It's my way of sharing a piece of my passion with the community. I also enjoy many hands-on creative pursuits, including sewing, painting, drawing, block printing, ceramics, and refurbishing furniture. I love gaining understanding about anything I can get my hands on. I get excitement from understanding things. I’ve learned that I enjoy doing everything at once and doing it well.
