I am Maria Cristina Sison, known as "Tinay" by friends and colleagues. My love for visual arts led me to start a career in the animation industry as a 3D graphic artist creating textures, lighting, and compositing. But while I was working in animation production, along the way, I did some side jobs doing illustrations. Which eventually made me decide to become a freelance artist and focus more on doing illustrations, especially children's book illustrations. I have illustrated several books already published, and my dream is to make more illustrations for children's books. I can also design logos and do portraits. I am also an instructor teaching book illustration at Top Peg Institute of Animation and Design.
