Deep and specific knowledge will be acquired through the connection with other growers. Users will be incentivised to share their knowledge to retain returning customers and to acquire new ones. On Reroot uniqueness and knowledge allow small seller to shift the power from industrialised plant retailer to local and savvy growers.

I decided to implement a 3rd party AI recognition tool that can provide a centralised database of information for the app. Every plant of the same species will have the same general information linked to it, this will ensure consistency and trustworthiness. This feature will allow users to troubleshoot and gain knowledge in a fast and convenient way. It will also give users enough knowledge to asses if a plant they wish to buy is compatible with their space and lifestyle.

Reroot is a company that aims to disrupt the plant retail and second-hand market by shifting the focus from mass-produced plants to those cultivated by private growers, enabling them to leverage their expertise and unique selection. They want to develop a product that facilitates users in finding a platform to acquire knowledge, buy, and sell plants. Presently, this is done on many platforms, mainly social media (facebook marketplace) for private sellers and second-hand markets (eBay) for small shops. However, non of these platforms are tailored specifically for this purpose.

The interactive animation element's main function is to define the single most important moment of any given Singa game and to translate that into a small interaction that allows the user to experience the essence of the game through the digital medium.
    uniE621 Singa games
I designed a categorisation system based on non traditional parameters (traditional being: age, number of player, etc) that was translated into a feature called "find your game". Singa and I created a long term strategy based on 1 on 1 sessions with parents to define how they perceive games categories so that the categorisation system can be updated for new games. A number of these were created based on Singa's current catalogue. The "find your game" feature was placed at the beginning of the experience to maximise time efficiency and designed to be intuitive and playful.

Singa games asked me to design a digital journey that would allow them to reach new customers and to endow this experience with the essence of physical play so that customers are exposed to the benefits of their products.
