David Rybka Singer Songwriter UK (wigan) Also with my bands VICTORIAN DAD & DEEPSHADE "David Rybka is one of the most promising song writers in the North West at the moment" Peter Jobson - I Am Kloot 2014 What do you really want/need to know when you read one of these? Songs- Has he got the songs? Yes, he has. He has written for many years. These songs have been well and truly "road tested". There is the longing and sense of loss of "Across the River". You should perhaps note that you will end up singing/humming this song for days. There is the broad filmic expanse of "Mexico". Isn't it good when one song can transport you to a place you might never have been to? There is the ethereal quality of "Breathe". This song was debuted at a gig on October 27th 2012, Many of the audience remarked on how stunning they thought it was. (And that's just 3 of his many songs) Musicianship- He has been playing gigs for many years. Has been fronting the very wonderful Victorian dad since 2007, also does many solo gigs. His style comes from a wide range of influences (musically and geographically). He plays electric and acoustic guitar, harmonica, Piano. He plays with passion and intensity, and believes that if a musician isn't committed then they should give up. Influences- On any given night you can hear grunge, gypsy music, folk, rock, progressive, punk etc. Nothing is ever ruled out in the service of music that is designed to reach people . So, Who does David Rybka sound like ? Easy question, because he sounds like David Rybka. He has been praised by such respected musicians as Pete Jobson (i am kloot) Guy Garvey (Elbow) David signed a CD for him once...Tom Robinson (BBC6) ,Mike Joyce (Smiths), Phil Beer (show of hands), Ashley Hutchings (Fairport Convention)And Blair Dunlop to name a few, Has he done a lot of gigs ?- Yes , too many to count . He has played all over the North-west of England , and Headlined at the iconic Band on the Wall Club He has also done gigs at those places you have to do when you are on your way up ( but would rather forget) He has played a variety of festivals . In Mexico he played at a high security prison, and has played in the jungle. He has also gigged extensively in Spain David Rybka- Songs for your soul and spirit.

Launched out of the North-West like an exocet missile. These three unassuming guys get on stage and smash your fuckin' face in with 90 mile an hour riffs and lead lines that leave you on the ropes with your eyes rolling. Come and get KO'd. 'deeply engrained sounds that span from Post-Grunge power to psychedelic sounds' - Fresh Beats 'One thing for certain is that Deepshade has created an engaging first single that is likely to appeal to fans of QOTSA, Interpol, Beck and Nirvana' - Famous Last Words 'This trio blend an impressive full dosage of hard rock music thunder. With a terrific fuelling energy , rock n' roll attitude might and a 'loud & proud' music atmosphere' Forkste Rock Formed in late 2013 by David Rybka (vox/guitar), Tom Doherty (bass) and Paul Barlow (drums), the Wigan (UK) based trio ‘Deep ... shade’ produce a dark, brooding melting pot of grungy alternative rock merged with elements of psychedelic blues. Resonating with a fusion of sounds inspired by a diverse range of influences such as QOTSA, Beck, The Doors, RATM, Nirvana, Led Zepplin, Alice In Chains etc, Deepshade create a sonic experience that aspires to deliver something fresh to the British music scene. Along with establishing a loyal following across the North of England on the strength of their live shows, Deepshade have gained airplay support from BBC Introducing and a plethora of alternative radio stations within the UK, EU and USA. About a boy… Darkbloom (in real life Noam David Wright) is a singer-songwriter from Manchester, UK, with more than a few tales to tell. Raised in some of the roughest parts of city, as a teenager he narrowly escaped a lot of hot water. Channeling a heart full of anger, in 1997 he formed the infamous, and short-lived, punk band Breather, who released just one vinyl-only single (financed by Manic Street Preachers' management) before imploding in spectacular fashion. In his early 20’s, and in a right old mess, he'd had it with songwriting and took off abroad, over the next 10 years living and working in eight countries - Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Poland, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Israel - where he did everything from getting arrested for bar fighting in Nairobi to becoming a voice-over actor for Italian cinema commercials to nursing acute dementia sufferers in rural New Zealand. After this all this, on returning to his home country, there was only one thing to do; become Jewish. His rich and multi-faceted songwriting has been praised by fellow musical greats such as Tom Robinson (TRB), John Bramwell (I am Kloot) and Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), as well as the late (Mr Manchester himself) Tony Wilson (Factory Records).
