I learned the theory and practice of cinematography and film/video production and received a DaVinci Resolve 15 Certification from Blackmagic Design, which demonstrates my proficiency in one of the most popular and powerful editing and colour grading tools in the industry. Also, I won an award for 'Best Colour Grading' in my University class' Degree Show. I worked for an Engineering company with a team of creative professionals and became part of the marketing team responsible for the day to day creation and editing of video content. I’m experienced in long-form & short-form video editing. I can transform a lengthy video into concise and captivating content that can be shared and enjoyed on social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Previously, I was a Floor Runner and a Marshal on some film sets. I have hospitality, customer service and marketing skills experience and knowledge gained through my previous part time jobs and sometimes selling things online. Became a Runner/Edit Assistant/Intern trimming down an interview, doing admin work for the company’s clients and researching clients. I’m looking forward to video editing opportunities individually and as a team showcasing my video editing skills, and helping me expand my knowledge and experiences. I can see myself in the next 6 to 10 years pursuing a career in the film industry & editing things too like advertisements & animations. I have hopefully gained a lot of video editing experience, skills, knowledge and interpersonal skills by then and have become an expert in my craft.
