3D Animator in Cheshire, UK

We are a hugely ambitious medical education technology start-up, that aims to better prepare medical students and improve the quality of patient care around the world?

We are looking to add to our talented and passionate team and are offering a part-time position at Alderley Park, Cheshire for 3 days a week.

Below is a brief job description the candidate would be involved in.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of high quality 3D animations of human anatomy, surgery, medical procedures and other medical related subject matter for use in our innovative education resources
• Creating animatics and planning resources
• Develop and maintain 3D animation pipelines, tools and processes
• Work collaboratively within the team to create new ideas, content and features

What skills are we looking for?

• Show a sound understanding of animation principles
• Experience in using Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop
• Knowledge of FCPX
• Manage your workload and deliver on tight deadlines

In addition to the technical skills you will need

• Strong organisational skills
• A good eye for detail.
• Proven interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• An interest in the medical world and the human body
• A willingness to develop and learn new skills

Required Experience:

• Degree level education
• Minimum of one-year 3D animation work experience
