YOUR ROLE

As a HTML5 Animator, you will have 3+ years experience in creating high quality coded animation solutions. You will have a strong desire to create jaw dropping animations and raise the bar of what is possible with CSS and JavaScript. You must be flexible and creative enough to grasp and implement new ideas and techniques quickly, work across different development platforms and frameworks whilst respecting the commercial and practical realities of the business.

We are seeking a proactive thinker able to work in fast-paced, agile environment and be a regular contributor of ideas and solutions to the creative and design teams.

You must be passionate about technology and maintain leading edge insights into the development trends.

You will be part of a small, self-organizing team, which works completely agile.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Code and construct display ads and web templates using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• Develop advanced animations using SVG, Canvas, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScript libraries such as Greensock and ThreeJS.
• Optimize and maintain existing media and update campaigns as necessary
• Communicate technical solutions and concepts to team with varying degrees of knowledge in regards to animation styles, best practices and media
• Create clean and efficient coded solutions to tough animation challenges
• Troubleshoot and debug deliverables across browsers and create support solutions for older browsers
• Manage assignments and timelines with project leads regularly
• Export and optimize assets from provided Photoshop files
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in web design, interactive animation or development and have examples to prior work
• Experience in an agency setting or similar production environment
• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding skills
• Advanced animation skills using CSS3 Web-kit Transitions, HTML5 Canvas, JavaScript and JavaScript animation libraries such as Greensock
• Experience with Git version control
• Strong optimization skills and familiar with TinyPNG and other compression tools.
• Experience with adapting to displays
• Time Management and communication skills
• Familiarity with Sizmek, DoubleClick Studio, Flashtalking or similar platforms
