Graphic Designer/Artworker in Wimbledon, UK

We have an exciting opportunity to work with an international company, at the headquarters in London, as Freelance Graphic Designer/Artworker.
Linguaphone Group Ltd. is a world-leading global language-training provider with over 110 years’ experience in the language training market. The Group operate under the internationally recognised brands Pingu’s English and Direct English and has a worldwide presence in over 40 countries.

Linguaphone Group Head Office based in Mitcham, 10min from Wimbledon station and Morden Station.

The position will suit an individual with working knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop with an eye for details for an International Publishing project.

The role will include the creation of Graphics to be included in Children Books, most of them from our own stock images and some taken from Shutterstock (if necessary).

• Budget for the project: £4000 per 8 weeks, working 4 days a week, full time, 9am to 5pm, in our office.
• Possibility to extend to more weeks.
• The role will report to the Head of Marketing (Brand and Digital)

Your Skills Requirements

• Design for both web and print to pixel precision.
• A good understanding of print production processes, publishing and ideally web technologies.
• Follow specified designs from the brief of our publishing team.
• Work under your own initiative as well as assigned tasks.
• Attention to details
• Work to deadlines
• Create artwork that meets business objectives and brand consistency
• Working as part of a team.
