Contract term: 6 months, with the opportunity to extend
Role rate: 350-500 PD
Location: Hertfordshire (Approx 45 mins- 1 hr from London) 3 days a week, and London 2
Summary of role: Opportunity to work within a newly formed UX team, liaise with multiple client teams on site addressing a number of different challenges across a range of digital interfaces in order to deliver digital health outcomes. Working within agile teams as part of a programme of digital transformation.
Key requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering customer and user-focused digital solutions with an understanding, and passion and for following and evangelising a robust research to testing UX process. Will have the ability to work well within the UX team and extended agile client teams.

Are you a passionate UX’er with experience of not only delivering demonstratable digital outputs and outcomes but also the experience of helping to drive the agile design process forward within your organisation? Are you passionate about how UX should be done from research insight through to testing and have helped to institute this within a large organisation?
Working with both the agency, centrally located in Soho, and the client based in central London and Hertfordshire you would be part of a newly formed UX team, responsible for working with up to 12 newly formed agile teams work on on a broad range of brand, product, and communication challenges across an array of digital platforms focused on healthcare professional and patient audiences as part of a digital healthcare transformation. A combination of 4 days working on site/s, and one day working remotely. This is an opportunity to help guide a large corporate that is itching to scale its ability to reach and engage its audiences much more rapidly. They need strong people who can help guide them.
You will be playing a key role in ensuring that genuine insight is converted into a testable hypothesis that helps to push the boundaries of what is possible in a regulated industry to reach and engage with audiences much more effectively than the client has ever done before. You must be able to evangelise the enormous benefit of your craft and driven to deliver outcomes against KPIs, whilst also leaving your mark on an organisation (through an established process) that finds your enthusiasm for co-created user-focused digital assets that the audience loves ‘infectious’.
The UX designer will be responsible for the digital experience created across the digital assets. In this role, you will be working within an agile team developing a seamless end-to-end customer experience that eliminates current pain points and establishes an extraordinary customer experience. In order to accomplish this you will need to help evangelise UX and be part of a new team responsible for helping to implement clear process within an Agile team delivery.

Be the customer, patient, user advocate
Working with the Business Insights team to promote the value of qualitative and quantitative user insight to determining the value for users
Establishing a balance between the user needs with the business goals
Think outside/inside the box from a customer standpoint, and bring customer, employee and partner experiences together.
Drive the creation of artefacts by UX Designers and implement best practices (e.g. personas, journey maps, storyboards, etc.).
Be responsible for creating and evolving a bank of reusable assets
Observe/analyse current experience from various sources and direct observation, and identify current customer journey and sentiments and layout roadmap for the next generation experience for our multiple target audiences.
Optimize the end-to-end customer experience by driving people, process and technology initiatives.
Craft a cohesive experience by working effectively with leadership and across different and sometimes competing interests by leveraging different tools, platforms and capabilities.
Work across Marketing, Sales, MLR and all the relevant departments to understand current challenges and help build that next generation experience.
Identify opportunities to develop and drive solutions to enable automated tools and applications for Customer Engagement
Drive design thinking practices with the various stakeholders and produce POC’s and experiments that will help drive decision making.
Keep self and team up-to-date with emerging trends in popular design methodology and technology.
Work within and across different Agile teams and be comfortable with data-driven decision making.
You’ll need to have:
Bags of enthusiasm and a determination to deliver real outcomes
Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
Proven ability to excite people about the benefits of a user-focused approach to technology design
The experience and ability to create UX artifacts such as personas, journey maps, develop ideas and solutions, wireframes, prototypes, and testing
Engage with senior leaders in the business, run workshops, and bridge the gap between strategy and UX activity.
Demonstrated ability to help deliver high quality innovative digital solutions and user interfaces to deliver business results.
Proven ability to tie in customer experience decisions to business outcomes.
Comfort with Agile and related ceremonies and methodologies to accelerate decisions and outcomes while minimizing risk.
Even better if you have:
Knowledge or previous experience of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Strong focus on outstanding business outcomes with effective and fast decision making.
Strong digital background coupled with experience in making the right trade-offs that balance the short and long term vision.
Experience with industry technologies within the following domains: CRM Tools (Veeva suite ideally, but also different CRM considered), Marketing technologies, Drupal Framework, Growth Driven Design, A/B testing tools et.
Experience with 360 degree view of the customer, customer data integration, partner data and integration.
Experience and understanding on key technologies and trends.
Capability to work well through challenges and the ability to keep the team focused on the right eventual outcomes.
