Web Designer in London, ON, Canada

The Web Designer develops and creates websites and web-based applications for internal and external web projects, coordinates the development and creation of design solutions for internal and external clients, and applies graphic design principles to support and enhance corporate and client initiatives.

The Web Designer will

• Work in collaboration with an internal project manager to deliver concepts and final work product for review and approval
• Work within agreed-upon time frames, budgets, brand guidelines, creative briefs and other applicable business requirements
• Effectively communicate rationale for design and technical recommendations
• Constructively accept and integrate internal and client feedback on work product
• Assemble production files to meet output requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree or advanced diploma in web design
• 2 or more years of commercial web design experience in an agency or corporate environment
• Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, - Photoshop) and MS Office applications
• Web development and design ability; experience translating design concepts using CSS and HTML
• Experience adapting design templates
