Recently, LanguageWire acquired Xplanation, thereby becoming one of Europe’s leading providers within the industry. It is the ambition to develop LanguageWire into a ‘Powerhouse’ within content services.

We are now looking for a Localization Project Manager to cover a 1-year maternity break in our London office with the possibility of extension. The suitable candidate will take ownership of a dedicated customer portfolio ensuring project delivery, customer onboarding and customer satisfaction.

The position
As a Localization Project Manager in LanguageWire, you onboard new customers and develop your customer relationships to create maximum value for the customer. You will be working closely with our Sales Team in delivering best in class service to our customers, and you will actively participate in driving and developing our customer relationships – as well as supporting the acquisition of new customers.

You work and think of yourself as a consultant ensuring professionalism and effectiveness in our customers’ projects giving them advice on optimal workflows and other relevant areas regarding optimal handling of their content. You work in our collaboration platform where you are in contact with our customers as well as our external network of Experts and internal colleagues. You will take over a strong portfolio of customers from day one.

Your responsibilities

  • Be the main contact for your own portfolio together with the designated Account Manager
  • Planning and preparing projects with clients and experts (freelance translators, copywriters, SEO-experts etc.)
  • Conduct project control in our platform
  • Advise clients on how to streamline content workflows promoting LanguageWire products and services
  • Participate and demonstrate the LanguageWire platform in customer meetings and conduct training sessions
  • Onboarding of new customers by providing the required solutions and workflows that best suit their needs
  • Deliver in line with company KPI’s for Project Management, with a high focus on automation, efficiencies, quality and added emphasis on schedules and deadlines

Your competencies and experience

  • You have experience within the service industry, preferably the translation industry
  • You demonstrate good knowledge of the content localization process and latest technology
  • You are qualified to BA level in a relevant field (languages, communication, technology, etc.)
  • You have the ability to manage large accounts/projects of various sizes and complexities
  • You are comfortable engaging and collaborating with enterprise stakeholders
  • You have flair for IT, CAT Tools, and particularly an in-depth experience in tools relevant to the translation and localization process
  • You have fluent verbal and written English skills. Knowledge of one or more additional modern language is also a plus

The position requires an individual with the ability to build deep client relationships. You are service-minded, and you naturally become our clients trusted advisor. You work structured and you never miss a deadline, even if the pressure is high. You possess business acumen, have a commercial approach to problem solving, and you see the value in providing excellent service to your clients.
