Front End Web Developer in Yeovil, UK

Due to Expansion Conceptai Design Studiosare now looking for a Freelance Front End Web Developer to join our team in Yeovil, Somerset to work remotely. As a key part of the web development team, you will be responsible for building, supporting and maintaining the expanding portfolio of Conceptai Design Studios websites.

Responsibilities

• Creating stunning user interfaces by using a range of complex HTML / CSS procedures based on wireframes/flat designs.
• Creating visually impactful websites with a fluid and responsive design.
• Utilizing CSS and Javascript to create simple yet effective animations and visual effects.
• Working closely with the team and marketing department to deliver a high-quality finished product.
• Working closely with the design team, building websites based on the designs supplied through Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, PDF.
• Working independently to provide support to the product in terms of issue resolution & any minor change.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Great Communications skills (Written & Verbal). Fluency in English Required.
• An interest and demonstrable involvement in the development of websites or applications
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator/XD
• Experience with RESTful Services and APIs
• 2-3 years Experience Developing
• 1-2 years Front End Experience
• Experience withCSS Preprocessors & Front End Frameworks
• Proven Portfolio of work
• Decisive, logical and methodical way of thinking
• Flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritize and plan workload
• Highly organised and professional approach with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively

Desirable

• Any relevant GCSE, A-Level, BTEC, degree or ITIL qualifications
• Additional knowledge in either AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, or ReactJS
• Knowledge of SEO
