WHAT WILL YOU DO
Fast-paced marketing communications team is seeking an experienced graphic design temp/freelancer for a 3-month period in order to support corporate marketing initiatives.

In this role, you will work on behalf of a market leading organization, and with one of the strongest brands in our industry. In addition to incorporating our brand elements into your designs, you will be responsible for conceptualizing visuals based on requirements, creating layouts and images using design software, working with multiple internal clients, managing projects through a ticket system and working directly with a trafficking production specialist to maintain schedules and deliverables. You will also collaborate and support a team of outside freelance design professionals.

Additionally, you will tackle a wide variety of projects including everything from collateral for comprehensive marketing campaigns and events, to presentations and graphics for social media. The right person will possess strong creative development abilities, quick production skills, flexibility to deal with changing priorities and a high level of organization.

What You’ll Do Here

• Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials
• Plans concept by studying information and materials and/or meeting with internal clients, marcom manager, etc.
• When necessary, advises clients on ways to reach particular audiences and helps to determine message
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding composition, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts
• Reviews designs for brand compliance, errors and technical completeness
• Obtains approvals of concept by submitting layout iterations as required
• Completes projects by coordinating with corporate HQ, outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Proven graphic design experience
• A strong design portfolio
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 5-7 years of graphic design experience (preferably with an agency or corporate marketing team)
• Degree in graphic design
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint)
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Knowledge and experience with web design, automated marketing platforms, and presentation design is a plus!
