This gig is perfect for a recent entry into the audio services industry, looking to gain experience and credentials and also a way to build clientele and earn money from doing what you love.
The position will be an unpaid position run out of MiddleGround Studios in Brooklyn, NY. The studio is an extension built onto a private residence, with it’s own entrance and suite. We’re located in a quiet part of the East New York area, a few blocks away from the L and 3 train.
We’re looking for engineers who can track and preferably also mix (although this is not required),
We are willing to work out a Time-For-Time arrangement where for each hour you work as an In-House tracking engineer for our Artists, we will match with one hour provided to you complimentary. The time you’ve earned can be sold to clientele or used for private recording. For additional services we can work out a separate arrangement.
The genres you can expect to work most with fall into Hip-Hop & R&B, Experimental Hip-Hop and possibly some Trap Metal.
We’re looking for a long-term relationship with someone who is serious about working as an audio professional in this industry for a long time. Our candidate has a good work ethic, is accountable, and has good energy.
Let’s build together!
