Lead Designer for our new graphic design service line. You relish the idea of knowing both your keen design eye and production management insights will be put to use from day one. You take responsibility for outcomes rather than simply the task at hand.

Your ability to see both the big picture as well as the next 5 steps ahead, gives you an uncanny ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with a calm head and steady hand.
What youâll need to win
Role
- In the role of Lead Designer you will meet with Brand Program Production Managers and Creatives, with one of the largest cosmetics retailers in the country, to understand the requirements for each of their program requests. You will be responsible for performing creative work against these program briefs, including generating and developing all visual assets across the full digital landscape. You will be managing and directing a team of designers ensuring that brand voice is adhered to across all programs. The role requires a mix of highly creative thinking, problem-solving, creative execution, and efficient prioritization.
Education
- BA of BFA in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Art Design or related discipline.
Experience
- 5+ years at a leading ad agency or in-house for a large retailer with a substantial online presence targeting women.
Expertise
- Expert art direction and graphic design. Adaptive design eye and skills. Effective at communicating design concepts as well as providing and receiving design direction. Strong attention to detail when finalizing and quality controlling designs.
Ability to effectively communicate with business partners at all levels, including international partners. Fluency in Adobe Creative
Suite inclusive of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.

- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external audiences including international team members

- Multi-lingual and/or International exposure a plus

Job Duties
- Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
- Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
- Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
