Videographer

Videographer is needed in St. Petersburg, United States.

Established,Emmy®-Award winning documentary production company has an immediate need for a freelance videographer for when an extra videographer is needed.

Business hours are weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm, but in video production one might need to start early or stay late depending on what needs to be done.

Everything is shot solid-state and edited in HD. Sometimes you’ll be shooting with a team, and others you’ll be solo. You’ll be actively involved in piecing together documentaries that change lives. We occasionally attend trade shows where you may be expected to record presentations, attend our booth, talk to clients, and help with setup/tear-down.

The successful candidate is expected to

• Be organized, creative, and present himself/herself in a professional manner when around clients;
• Have a degree in T-Comm, or the equivalent in professional experience;
• Have experience editing video with Adobe Premiere;
• Have experience shooting with a pro-grade video camera and accessories;
• Have an understanding of 3-point lighting;
• Interact with clients;
• Manage multiple projects effectively;
• Always be attentive to detail;
• Be able to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs;
• Have a good grasp of the English language, although a secondary language is a plus;
• Abstain from smoking during the work day, lunch break excepted;
• Have reliable transportation;
• Be willing to work from home;
• Be a quick learner;
• Be self managing;
• Be a problem solver;
• Be willing to travel, sometimes for several days.
