UX Designer is needed in Brooklyn Park, United States.

Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, hard-working and whip-smart designer to create software solutions that address the needs of our diverse clients and their users.

Working with us means working with a talented, diverse team to solve problems across a unique array of clients and products. You will need to be agile, fluid and adaptable. To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation of product design work, with a proficiency in tools used in UI/UX design and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Work in collaboration with product managers and engineers to understand the problem and craft a winning solution
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Develop a comprehensive design for the product which may include a style guide, component library, screen mockups, tappable prototypes, animations, and more
• Work with engineers to ensure the product has been built to specification
• Share your work with clients and speak to the design thinking that went into it
• Develop a comprehensive design that addresses all aspects of the product, and fulfilling the design needs based on the intended platform. (ie responsive web vs. Native Mobile App)
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems

Requirements

• Proven work experience background in application/product design
• Portfolio of professional design projects including work with responsive web/mobile applications
• Ability to take feedback from your peers and clients
• A strong understanding of UX/UI

Nice to have

• Experience conducting user research
• Experience conducting successful design workshops with clients
• Experience with animation software like After Effects
• Talent as an illustrator

This is a contract opportunity as it is a project to project basis. This role would ideally suit freelance designers.
