RESPONSIBILITIES

• Imagine and build front-end and back-end projects for CTS { agency and our development clients
• Typical requests may include front-end styling, coding of custom plugins, and general website maintenance tasks including interaction with hosting and domain companies
• Collaborate with marketing strategists to translate campaigns and client goals into optimized web elements
• Typical requests might include WordPress websites, technical optimization for search, ADA compliant coding, landing pages, micro-sites, forms, dashboards, and more.
• Integrate with third-party APIs (including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, CRMs, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of experience with custom WordPress development
• Proficient in HTML5/CSS3/PHP and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience using GitHub and FTP software
• Ability to maintain organization, meet deadlines, and be proactive
• Attention to detail and strong organization skills
• Experience working with a third-party API
• Ability to demonstrate use of clean coding techniques
• Ability to develop responsive designs with an emphasis on user experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well in groups or independently
• Ability to develop WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up
• Ability to maintain, modify, and enhance existing websites and applications
• Proficiency in Javascript, jQuery Ajax, and SQL
• Experience with responsive email development
• SEO friendly web development with understanding of development for page load speed
• Understanding of development for page load speed using tools such as Google page speed test and Pingdom speed test
• React, Angular
