Full Stack Web Developer

Web Developer is needed in Ann Arbor, United States.

We are searching for a strong Full Stack Web Developer to augment our staff as a part time consultant.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an independent consultant. If you already have work in progress but have bandwidth to take on more work at 10-20 hours per week on average, this may be a good fit.

Stout’s consultants almost always work on two or more projects concurrently, so the ability to task shift (and enjoyment doing so) is essential.

All of Stout’s consultants are in client-facing roles, whether eliciting requirements or discussing deliverables, so excellent communication skills are required.

LOCATION
Ideally you are located in southeast Michigan or northern Ohio, but we are open to other locations on a case-by-case basis.

COMPENSATION
$45/hour to $65/hour, commensurate with skills and experience.
We prefer consultants who already have an established LLC, S-Corp or C-Corp.
We will consider individuals who would need to become a direct-hire employee of Stout Systems on a case-by-case basis.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• ASP.NET MVC or Core
• Strong C#
• Excellent front end development skills
• Good JavaScript/TypeScript
• Good SQL Server

SOFT SKILLS

• Excellent estimating skill
• Experience with software requirements gathering
• Strong communicator
• Able to lead a project or take direction
• Self-managing

PREFERRED

• Strong front end framework experience, either React or VueJS
