Craftwork Design Co. is a fast-growing creative design agency that provides leading Creative Design, Product Development, Content Development and Ecommerce services for a growing portfolio of media, entertainment and consumer brands including Pabst Brewing, Improv, Playboy and John Wayne Enterprises. Based in Huntington Beach, CA, we empower our partners to develop dynamic product collections and powerful ecommerce experiences while expanding their audience engagement through the development of compelling social content. We are looking for a Full or Part-Time Graphic Artist to join our digital design and creative services team.

We are seeking someone with 2+ years of graphic design experience whose primary responsibilities will include developing creative concepts for apparel, digital promotional assets used in direct marketing and social promotion, and content and ecommerce design and wireframing.

Specifically, the Graphic Artist is responsible for working with our creative and product teams to develop on brand and trend driven designs that will ultimately make up the product assortments we create for our partner brands. The better the creative design, the better the product. The better the product, the greater the ecommerce conversion. In this role, the graphic artist will also be responsible for preparing art files and tech packs for production and finishing (screen printing and embroidery). In order to properly showcase the design and product the Graphic Artist will also leverage lifestyle content to develop promotional assets used to feature products in all relevant marketing channels (site, email, social, retargeting, etc.). As our agency continues to grow the Graphic Artist will also assist in the design and development of new content and ecommerce sites, primarily from a design standpoint but possibly on the build side as well depending on the candidate’s familiarity with Shopify.

The ideal candidate has experience in designing for brands in apparel, activewear space, working with production on the development of product, digital agency experience and ecommerce/Shopify experience as well.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Work closely with our partner brands, creative and product development teams to create compelling designs to help fuel our product development efforts
• Develop tech packs and design files to assist with the product production effort
• Create digital assets to support site, email and social marketing effort
• Assist in the design and development of content sites and ecommerce shops on Shopify
• Strong Photoshop & Illustrator skills are a must
• Experience working within a creative agency, digital marketing agency, designing for a brand, or in a product development or production environments is a strong plus

EDUCATION, SKILLS & TRAINING
2+ years graphic design experience designing for a creative agency, digital marketing agency, designing for a brand, or in a product development or production environments is a strong plus
